Ephesians Part 3

What does it look like when the gospel collides with culture? In Ephesians 3, we are taken into the heart of one of the most radical transformations in human history. The same gospel that turned the city of Ephesus upside down, threatening its economy and dismantling its spiritual foundations, is the same gospel at work in us today. We explore what it means to carry this message with the kind of grit Paul demonstrated, a man who walked willingly into imprisonment, beatings, and danger, not because he was fearless, but because he was firmly convinced he was exactly where Christ wanted him to be. There is something deeply freeing about that posture. When we see our hardships through the lens of being held by Christ rather than crushed by circumstances, everything changes. We also wrestle with the stunning reality that God chose the most unlikely person imaginable, a man who hated the very people he was sent to reach, to carry the unsearchable riches of Christ to the Gentile world. That mystery is not just Paul's story. It is ours. We who were once far off, once instruments of division and self-interest, have been made alive and sent out as ambassadors of reconciliation. The question this leaves us with is not whether we are qualified, but whether we are willing.
